Will the Tokyo Olympics go ahead in 2021?

I have read an ariticle in Independet by Alex Pattle called "Will the Tokyo Olympics go ahead in 2021?". It left about 200 days until the the scheduled start date of the 2020 Olympics, but the decision  whether or not to take place hasn't been made yet. They are to be held in Tokyo, but few days ago the Japanese Prime Minister implemented state of emergency there, owing to an alarming spread of Covid-19 cases. The delay will cost almost 3 billion dollars.

In my opinion The Tokyo Olympics should take place but without the audience. And so in most countries training and matches are held. The Olympic wouldn't be much different from currently playing matches. I know that the cost of lack of audience will be big but not as big as it would be when the whole entertainment will be delay.

  1. Wouldn't it be better to delay the Olympics and have them next year, with audiences and the other usual features? What fun is it to compete in front of no one?

The largest airport in the world

First we need to estabilish our criteria.  The largest airport in the world in terms of international passenger traffic is Dubai International Airport.  It is the seat of one of the world's most luxurious airlines - Emirates. Dedicated for use by this Airline, Terminal 3 increased Dubai International’s total capacity by 43 million passengers per year. The airport is not small in terms of the area either; it spreads over an area of 2,900 hectares. In total, it has 3 terminals, however Terminal 3 in Dubai International airport is the second-largest building in the world by floor space and the largest airport terminal in the world. With 88 million passengers, 2.65 million tons of cargo, and 409,493 aircraft movements in 2017, it is the world's busiest airport by international passenger traffic and has been so for four consecutive years. Dubai International airport is also the sixth-busiest cargo airport in the world. https://www.oxfordsaudia.com/en/blog/largest-airport-wor...

Smuggling at the airports

Smuggling is a common issue in the world.  People try to use planes to quickly and efficiently transport goods to their destination.  This is often ineffective because nowadays airports have machines capable of detecting illegal substances and drugs.  However, not only such substances are smuggled in.  People are capable of trying to smuggle live animals.  Drugs are the most common case.  If the smuggling is successful, the person who did it will earn a lot of money.  It is not always caught, so people do not resist doing such scams more often.  However, if caught, they could end up behind bars for many years.

‘CONCORDE PRICING’ AS BRITISH AIRWAYS STRUGGLES TO MAINTAIN HEATHROW FLIGHT SCHEDULES

I’ve read an article in Independent called “‘CONCORDE PRICING’ AS BRITISH AIRWAYS STRUGGLES TO MAINTAIN HEATHROW FLIGHT SCHEDULES” by Simon Calder. It was about how the airline British Airways increased the prices of flights until the Easter Monday and canceled some of them. Probably it’s not because of some financial crisis but because of no ability to carry out the flights. The high prices aims at reducing buying tickets and potential numer of passengers affected by cancellations. The prices are higher than prices for Concord flights on the route:London-New York (Concord was the fastest, long distance airplane, but since 2003 it has not flown). In my opinion British Airways shouldn’t working like that. If they are not able to realize the flight, they should canceled it. It will be easier for everyone, because they haven’t to change their flights. They will buy ticket from other airline.  https://www.independent.co.uk/travel/news-and-advice/british-airways-flight-cancelled-...
